Today, Marile and I celebrate and congratulate the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce — it’s distinguished members, professional team and volunteer leaders on an outstanding and successful 2019 IMPACT Goals Conference.
On this Father’s Day, we join families from across our Great Nation in honoring fathers and those who have taken on the role of Dad.
This morning, during the liturgy — we paused and prayed to our Heavenly Father in gratitude for our dads’ — Raul and Luis — unconditional love, protection and wisdom.
As a Steering Committee Member, I join my colleagues in celebrating the launch of the Resilience305 Strategy — the culmination of 3 years of extensive stakeholder engagement and listening sessions — designed to tackle economic, social & environmental stresses in the Greater Miami & the Beaches region and make our community truly resilient — in the short & long term.
We hope our new #ThankfulThursday reflection finds you well.
Today, we reflect and give thanks for United HomeCare — for 45 years of compassionate, respectful and dignified care that promotes independence and wellness for elderly and disabled adults in our community.
The month of May marks Cancer Research Awareness Month.
As you may know, helping children with cancer not only survive but thrive has been the driving force for many of the causes Marile and I have supported as part of our life-long work.
For this reason, we have committed to Chairing St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Inaugural South Florida Executive Committee — tasked with the important mission of hosting the Legends for Charity® dinner and securing funds to guarantee the advancement of cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
