Dear Friends, Clients, and Colleagues,
Marile and I hope our reflection finds you in good health and high spirits.
As we observe Presidents’ Day from London, visiting universities with Saramelia, we are reminded of the profound impact that American leadership has had at home and around the globe. We join you and all Americans in honoring the legacy and leadership of the Presidents who have shaped our United States of America, a nation that stands as a beacon of democracy, liberty, and justice.
Appropriately pay special tribute to George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, two exemplary figures whose courage and dedication during challenging times have left an indelible mark on our nation’s history. Their commitment to the principle’s family, faith and hard work continues to inspire not just Americans but people around the world, including us here in London.
On this Presidents’ Day, Marile, our children, and I extend our deepest respect and gratitude to all 46 Presidencies of the United States. Each, in their unique way, has contributed tirelessly to safeguarding the American people and ensuring the nation’s prominent role as a symbol of freedom internationally.
In the spirit of service and unity, our family offered a special prayer today for all those in public service, at every level of government. We prayed for their strength, dedication, and for the unity of our great nation, echoing the sentiment,
“Heal us from our differences and unite us, O Lord, with a common purpose, dedication, and commitment to achieve liberty and justice for all, especially the most vulnerable among us.”
As we reflect on our nation’s history and its future, we are particularly mindful of the responsibilities that lie with our Commander-in-Chief and leaders at all levels. May they meet their challenges with wisdom and integrity, and may the United States continue to flourish under their guidance.
Especially from London, our hearts are filled with pride and hope for the future of our USA. We wish you all a reflective and inspiring Presidents’ Day.
