Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues:

As we approach Veterans Day, we extend our warmest regards to you and your families.

Today, we join in the nationwide celebration of our true heroes: the courageous men and women who have served our nation with honor. Their sacrifices, made in the name of freedom and security, are the pillars upon which our nation stands.

This year, we are particularly proud to highlight a special initiative led by our daughter Annia. With a deep-rooted passion for giving back, Annia has collaborated with the American Red Cross to bring an extraordinary experience to military brides. She organized an event featuring Maria Elena Headpieces, exquisite bridal accessories crafted by Cuban-American designer Maria Elena.

Annia’s event provided a unique opportunity for active duty and veteran brides to select a headpiece, adding a touch of elegance and significance to their weddings. This initiative was inspired by the legacy of Annia’s grandmother, the founder of this family business, mirroring the strength and determination of the women we honor today.

In remembering the sacrifices of our veterans, we recognize those who upon their return have answered the call once again and continue serving as police officers, firefighters, healthcare workers, and first responders–our Hometown Heroes.

As we reflect on the bravery and dedication of our veterans, let’s also celebrate the acts of kindness and service that the American Red Cross engages in daily for their families. May this Veterans Day be a time of gratitude and remembrance for their invaluable contributions to our nation and our lives.

Wishing you and yours a happy and safe Veterans Day weekend.

Warmest personal regards,

Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
