Give Miami Day 2023: It’s a Great Time to Give Back…

Greetings Family, Friends & Colleagues:

We hope our note finds you and yours well.

As Thanksgiving approaches, bringing with it a time of reflection and gratitude, we’re reminded of the vital role generosity plays in our lives.

Proverbs 11:25 echoes this sentiment, stating, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” This wisdom inspires our actions this #GiveMiamiDay.

Our local charities and nonprofits — their staff, fundraising professionals, donors and volunteers are the backbone of our caring Miami community, offering unwavering support to those facing increased challenges. Their dedication is a beacon of hope!

This Thursday, Nov.16, we’ll come together for #GiveMiamiDay2023, a special day that Marile, our children and I eagerly anticipate as a time to give back more and uplift the causes close to our hearts (see above).

Since 2012 our Lopez Family Foundation has supported #GiveMiamiDay and we’ve witnessed the truly profound impact of every donation.

Marile and I invite you to join us in this journey of kindness – in three simple steps:

  1. Explore: Delve into the online profiles of numerous Miami-Dade nonprofits. Discover the stories and missions that underscore the spirit of our community.
  2. Connect: Identify an organization or cause that resonates with you, aligning with your personal values and passions.
  3. Act: Embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving through your charitable donation. Each contribution, regardless of size, is a vital part of this communal effort.

Your active participation is the true essence of Thanksgiving – generosity, unity, and gratitude.

Every gesture of support, every act of kindness, is a gift that keeps on giving.

Marile and I are deeply grateful for your involvement and look forward to standing together in this powerful expression of community spirit.

Warmest personal regards,

Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
