Marile and I proudly invite you to join us and our friends at the Mailman Center for Child Development, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine — in celebrating 50 years of service and help continue enriching the lives of children with developmental disabilities and special health care needs.

Throughout Scripture, children are considered as blessings and our most treasured gifts. As extolled in Matthew 19:14: 

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 

This passage is reflected profoundly in the Mailman Center’s mission – a sanctuary for children with developmental disabilities, ensuring they thrive while feeling loved, valued and understood.

Over the past five decades, the Mailman Center has positively touched over 14,000 lives annually through innovative research, impactful clinical service, in-depth training, robust community engagement, and passionate advocacy.

Our cherished friend Dr. Daniel Armstrong’s vision, brilliance and dedication as Director of the Mailman Center has been transformative and monumental.

Through our numerous collaborations on charitable initiatives, Marile and I have been privileged to witness Danny’s relentless pursuit of life-changing research for children with chronic illnesses, coupled with his decorated history of service and unwavering faith and commitment. 

Dr. Armstrong is truly a God-sent and stands as a beacon of dedication, excellence and service to children’s health.
