Today, 12:01 pm marked the qualifying deadline for candidates to the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners.
Officially, the following incumbent County Commissioners have been re-elected automatically without opposition:
Chairman Anthony Rodriguez
Commissioner Steve Gallon III
Commissioner Micky Steinberg
Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis
Commissioner Juan Carlos “JC” Bermudez
These Commissioners will continue to serve for four (4) more years until their terms expire in 2030. The following have primary elections on the August 18:
Commissioner Marleine Bastien
Commissioner Vicki L. Lopez
Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins
