“Prosper the work of our hands!” Ps 90:3-5a — 2025 Labor Day Reflection

Greetings Friends, Clients & Colleagues,

We trust this Labor Day reflection finds you and yours well.

Today, as we return from our summer travels–pilgrimage to The Eternal City, Rome for the Holy Jubilee Year and family adventures sailing the Mediterranean coast–we look forward to the arrival of autumn. Fall signifies the start of the academic year, the welcome coolness for us Floridians, and the opportunity to reconnect with you our dear friends, clients and colleagues during the Charity Gala Season.

Marile and I are delighted by our children’s flourishing paths —

Saramelia (King’s College UK)
Luis Jorge (UM), are now sophomores.
AR (an attorney and future of our law firm),
Carlos (his new venture MSP firm CyberSphere Solutions), and
Annia (leading the marketing team at Maria Elena Headpieces)

— continue to achieve success and excel, bringing us immense joy and pride in their accomplishments.

For us, Labor Day weekend is a special holiday and a significant opportunity to acknowledge and honor the contributions of hardworking American families.

As we reflect, Psalm 90:3-5a resonates:

Fill us at daybreak with your kindness,
that we may shout for joy and gladness all our days.
And may the gracious care of the Lord our God be ours;
prosper the work of our hands for us!
Prosper the work of our hands!
”Marile and I instill in our children these same values of faith, hard work and economic opportunity. We also champion the dignity of human labor and believe that an honest day’s work warrants just compensation.

We wish you all a happy and safe Labor Day weekend.

Thank you for your support and cherished friendship.

Warmest personal regards,
Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.

In observance of Labor Day, our Law Office will be closed Monday, September 1st.
