Happy Friday Friends, Clients and Colleagues,
On February 4th we reflect on World Cancer Day β a day when the world unites to reduce the impact that cancer has on individuals, children, families and communities by raising awareness and pressing elected leaders across the world to take action against this epidemic.
2022 marks the 22nd anniversary of World Cancer Day.
Since the establishment of World Cancer Day, we have witnessed incredible progress in many areas, from increased political will, technological advancements, research breakthroughs, and greater public understanding of the disease.
However, there is still much more to be done.
Throughout our philonthropic and volunteer work, Marile, our children and I have witnessed first hand how cancer affects everyone.
We have also seen how β with proper prevention, early detection, and treatment, we can help save countless lives worldwide.
Let this World Cancer Day be our starting point to making a change in the way cancer affects our community by accelerating the reduction of unnecessary cancer deaths and achieving equal access to cancer care for all.
We encourage you to take a moment to reflect and share a message of hope with someone who is undergoing treatment, fighting back, or in remission.
Each life impacted by cancer and each death caused by cancer is a reason to volunteer, support and continue to raise much needed awareness.
Marile and I pray you will join with us and our fellow volunteers fighting to end the suffering and death from cancer once and for all.
As always, thank you for your friendship and continued support.
All the best,
Marile and Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
