UPDATED: County Approves New Civil & Probate Courthouse Project…
The Courthouse Agreements provide for the design, build, finance, operation, and maintenance of a new 640,000 square foot civil courthouse (New Courthouse) to be occupied by the Administrative Office of the Courts for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, the Miami-Dade Clerk of Courts, the Law Library, and the Miami-Dade Police Department. The New Courthouse will include 46 finished jury courtrooms, four shelled courtroom sets to accommodate future projected growth in the judicial system, and 59 secured parking spaces for judicial officers and Clerk staff.
