Democracy is in full swing with just 7 days to the Primary Elections, on August 20th.
We have many important decisions to make, including — who will represent us in the US Senate, US Congress, Judges, Constitutional Officers, County Mayor & Commissioners, and more.
This #ElectionsMatters summarizes the latest information from the Elections Department about Mail-In Ballots, Early Voting, voting on Election Day, as well as when and where to vote.

We especially commend Supervisor of Elections Christina White and her elections department team for their professionalism and tireless work ethic to ensure that our elections are “fair, accurate, convenient, transparent, and accessible” to all voters in Miami-Dade.
Be sure your ballot is received no later than 7:00 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, August 20th!
Your vote-by-mail ballots can also be dropped into a secure Ballot Box located outside all 23 Early Voting locations.
Just look for the “Official Ballot Drop Box“.

If you’ve voted on a vote-by-mail ballot, you can click here to track the status of your ballot online.
Early Voting locations are open through this Sunday, August 18th.
Monday to Friday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you choose to vote on Election Day, remember to go to your assigned voting location, which is determined by your home address.
Precincts are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Finally, before casting your ballot, check both sides of your ballot page or pages to ensure that your choices are accurate.
