Reflections on Labor Day 2021

Happy Thursday Friends, Clients & Colleagues,,
We hope our brief Labor Day reflection finds you and yours well.
On this Labor Day, our family will recognize the dignity of work by honoring the America working family.
We are heartened by the promise of Psalm 128:2 —
“You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.”
Marile and I remind our children that all people have the opportunity for economic advancement that comes from an honest day’s work, and are entitled to fair and equal pay — both men and women.
We are thankful for our professions, careers and jobs, and pray for the nation’s unemployed, that they may soon re-join the workforce.
This Sunday, Marile, our parents, kids and I will join our St. Augustine Catholic Church parish family and Pastor Fr. Richard Vigoa in a special prayer of thanksgiving and support for all charity workers and volunteers who labor tirelessly to feed, house, educate, and nurture those neediest amongst us.
We also rejoice on the undeniable truth that — the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country lies in the work of so many whose “honest toil” helped build and sustains this — the greatest Nation on earth.
Thank you for reflecting with us!
Marile and I wish you and yours a very happy and safe Labor Day weekend!
As always, thank you for your continued support and friendship.
Warmest personal regards,
Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
