🇺🇸 Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day 2020

On December 7th 2020, we pause and commemorate the 79th anniversary of the brutal attack upon our country, our values and our people that changed the course of history — the bombing of Pearl Harbour.

The “Day That Will Live in Infamy” as President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared, holds relevance to this day.

As proud Americans, we know that Americans stand prepared to fight to upholds the values of our democracy and our freedoms.

“We must be the great arsenal of democracy.”  Franklin D. Roosevelt

This day marks the day that America was forcefully pulled in to World War II — we intervened in the war to defend our freedoms and values that make us the great country we are!

Rightly, we remember and pray for the 2403 of soldiers who lost their lives and the 1143 who were injured on that tragic day.

The sacrifice of all those brave souls remind us that we must never take the blessings we have for granted.

Above all, we are blessed to live in the Greatest Nation on Earth — where free people are united for peace.

On December 7, 2017, Marile, our kids, parents and I had the privilege to visit the site of the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbour Nation Park.

We prayed for the souls of all those brave men and women who fell victim to a direct attack on our values on that infamous day.

Truly, their sacrifice is the reason why we America today, can stands proudly together and united 79 years later.

“Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they will be called children of God”

Matthew 5:9

As always, thank you for reflecting with us.

Warmest personal regards,

Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
