#ThankfulThursday: Path to Peace Foundation Dinner

Dear friends, clients, and colleagues,

As always we hope our brief #ThankfulThursday message finds you well.

On June 26th, Marile and I commemorate our visit to Vatican City to attend the Papal Audience. To this day, we are moved and inspired by praying from the Sagrato with the Holy Father for hope, peace and compassion, and receive his Apostolic Blessing.

One of the many blessings from our Papal Audiance has been our eldest son AR, serving as an intern-adviser at the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See.

Since 1964, the Mission of the Holy See has provided an active role toward the advancement of peace and justice in the international community, while serving as a vehicle for promoting the teachings of the Catholic Church.

We are also proud supporters of The Path to Peace Foundation.

The Foundation was established in 1991, to support the work of the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations

The Path to Peace Foundation enables the Holy See to keep a vigorous presence at the United Nations, “helping to bring the wisdom of the Popes and the Catholic Church to the problems of the world and keep at the forefront of considerations matters of conscience, peace, justice, the dignity of every person, interreligious harmony, the good of the family, the poor and the environment.”

Later this year, Marile, AR and I, will once again be attending the Annual Path to Peace Foundation Gala Dinner in New York City.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will be awarded the prestigious Path to Peace Award by Archbishop Gabriele Caccia, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations and President of the Path to Peace Foundation at the Foundations’s annual gala on November 16, 2021 at the Pierre Hotel in Manhattan.

Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
