We hope our new #ThankfulThursday reflection finds you well.
Today, we reflect and give thanks for United HomeCare — for 45 years of compassionate, respectful and dignified care that promotes independence and wellness for elderly and disabled adults in our community.
On Thursday, May 16, Marile, our children, and I joined the United HomeCare family for the 25th Annual Claude Pepper Awards Dinner celebrating Senator Pepper’s legacy and supporting United HomeCare’s mission.
Marile, our children, and I are truly humbled and grateful to receive the 2019 Claude Pepper “Community Builder Award” — recognizing our family’s life-long contributions and service to our beloved community.
As we reflect on this award, we thank our parents for their love, sacrifices and impacts on our lives and the lives of our five children. We are blessed to be able to care for our parents — as they so lovingly have cared for us.
Please join us in congratulating our fellow 2019 Claude PepperAwards honorees — distinguished civic, community and business leaders.
Finally, we thank our dearest friends, clients, and colleagues who joined us in this celebration —- especially Father Rafael Capo for his spiritual guidance.
Please consider supporting and donating to United HomeCare — help promote the independence and wellness of elderly and disabled adults who need assistance with activities of daily living to remain at home.
As always, thank you for taking the time to reflect with us.
Know we cherish your friendship and continued support.
Warmest personal regards,
