We hope this brief Reflection finds you safe, healthy and in the company of your loved ones!
As we prepare to honor the birth of our great Nation, we reflect from the safety of our homes — on these challenging times we are living.
We also reflect on the principles upon which America is founded — liberty, opportunity, and freedom from oppression.
Principles that must never be compromised.
These enduring principles are as relevant today as they were in 1776, and in some ways, even more so.
Today, is truly a day to reflect on freedom, its sacred meaning — and the high price paid to secure it.
For our family, America stands as a beacon of freedom, hope and opportunity, since our birthplace of Cuba became a place of fear and oppression under a cruel and brutal socialist-dictatorship. (Click to read more in new release book …)
America became our refuge and our home — each day we express our gratitude for the opportunities and generosity America has bestowed upon us.
Marile and I share with our children, that as Americans, we have a solemn duty and responsibility to preserve this nation’s greatness by defending justice, freedom and opportunity for all.
We join our fellow Americans in a special prayer for blessings on these United States and all it’s people —
“That the Lord will sanctify our country, protect our military,
make us agents of peace,
and keep us safe and thankful for the gift of freedom …”.
May you and your family have a safe and blessed Independence Day weekend, as we celebrate the true meaning of being an American!
God bless you, and God bless these United States of America.
