The month of May marks Cancer Research Awareness Month.
As you may know, helping children with cancer not only survive but thrive has been the driving force for many of the causes Marile and I have supported as part of our life-long work.
For this reason, we have committed to Chairing St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Inaugural South Florida Executive Committee — tasked with the important mission of hosting the Legends for Charity® dinner and securing funds to guarantee the advancement of cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
The annual Legends for Charity® dinner will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 6pm-8pm at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Miami — NFL Headquarters — during Super Bowl LIV week. Each year, the dinner presents “The Pat Summerall Award” to a person who has made a significant contribution in the sports field.
All proceeds from this event will further the lifesaving mission of St. Jude: Finding Cures. Saving Children.®
