🇺🇸 #ElectionsMatters: Read before you vote… Nov. 8 General Elections

As always, I hope this new #ElectionsMatters note finds you and yours well.

Our democracy is in full swing — with just 7 days to the General Elections, on November 8th.  

We have many important decisions to make, including — who will represent us at the Federal, State, County and Municipal levels along with Florida Constitutional amendments and local Referenda.

This #ElectionsMatters summarizes the latest information from the Elections Department on Mail-In BallotsEarly Voting, voting Election Day, as well as when and where to vote.

Again, we commend Supervisor of Elections Christina White and her professional Elections Department team for their tireless work to ensure that elections are “fair, accurate, convenient, transparent, and accessible” to all us voters in Miami-Dade.

Are you voting in person at an Early Voting location?

Early Voting locations are open until Sunday, November 6th.

Monday to Sunday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Are you voting by mail-in ballot? 

Be sure your vote-by-mail ballot is received no later than 7:00 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8th.

Your vote-by-mail ballot can also be dropped into a secure Ballot Box located outside all 28 Early Voting locations.

Just look for the “Official Ballot Drop Box”.

Are you voting in person on Nov. 8: Election Day?

If you choose to vote on Election Day, remember to go to your assigned voting location, which is determined by your home address.

Precincts are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
