#ElectionsMatters: Read Before You Vote

As always, I hope this new #ElectionsMatters note finds you and yours well.

Our democracy is in full swing — even under Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions — with just 7 days to the Primary Elections, on August 18th.

We have many important decisions to make, including — who will represent us in Congress, State Attorney, Judges, County Mayor & Commissioners, and more.

This #ElectionsMatters summarizes the latest information from the Elections Department about Mail-In BallotsEarly Voting, voting on Election Day, as well as when and where to vote.

First, we commend Supervisor of Elections Christina White and her professional Elections Department team for their tireless work to ensure that elections are “fair, accurate, convenient, transparent, and accessible” to all us voters in Miami-Dade.

Be sure your ballot is received no later than 7:00 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, August 18th!

Your vote-by-mail ballots can also be dropped into a secure Ballot Box located outside all 23 Early Voting locations.
