Marile and I pray our 2025 Veteran’s Day Reflection finds you and yours well.
Gratitude for Service: Today, we celebrate the spirit and dedication of many generations of American veterans and their sacrifices at home and on the battlefield.
The Foundation of Security: Our nation stands as the greatest testament to freedom and liberty in human history. Our prosperity and security is directly due to the honorable men and women we honor today. The security we enjoy is not free; it is built upon countless sacrifices, each represented by a veteran.
A Personal Salute: Many of us have family members and friends who sacrifice their time and their lives to protect our way of life from forces of violence and tyranny. Marile and I are especially proud of my cousin Miguel “Mike” Lopez, an Army veteran of the first Gulf War.
A Moment of Thanks: Please join our family in offering a heartfelt thank you to our veterans. We also hold in our prayers all members of the armed forces and their families, especially those currently facing danger.
Heavenly Father,
may they find safety and return home to the warm embrace of their families.
And, may we always be worthy of the sacrifices
they have made for us.
