🇺🇸 “No day shall erase you from the memory of time.” Reflections on Patriot Day 9/11

Dear Friends, Clients & Colleagues

As always, we hope this reflection finds you and yours safe and well.

Today we are reminded and commemorate that on this day 24 years ago 3000 lives were lost, families suffered and yet as a nation we came together in solidarity.

Americans are resilient, bonded by democratic ideals where freedom of speech, freedom of worship and a free economy is what makes us great — a nation under God built on these values.

The words in today’s Gospel — Luke 6:27-38 reminds us:

“Stop judging and you will not be judged. Stop condemning and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven… for the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.”

Marile and I gather with our children and pray for their souls and the families they left behind.

We also pray that our nation will once again come together and give testament that human life is sacred.

We pray for the eternal rest of Charlie Kirk, whose life was taken too soon by a horrific act of violence against our nation and our values.

Today on Patriot’s Day, we recite the words etched on the walls of the 9/11 Memorial:

“No day shall erase you from the memory of time.”

Honoring the unwavering bravery of the first responders, who, without hesitation, risked and sacrificed their lives to save others, embodying the true spirit of selflessness and courage.

“Courage is acting on your beliefs, even when it’s uncomfortable.” -Charlie Kirk

Thank you for reflecting with us.

Know we cherish your friendship and support.

Warmest Regards,

Marile & Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
